Our Next Event: December 11, 2010 - 5pm - midnight

We had such a great time at our last C4C holiday party, that we decided to do one again this year at our new home. This event will have a 2-part focus with the first half of the evening being kid and family-oriented, but everyone is welcome during the entire event. The details:

Come join us for a fun filled evening of food, drink, music, laughter & charity!

Our charity, Toys for Tots, collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The man-power is 100% volunteer-based and run by the Marines. So be sure to bring new unwrapped toys (or cash) to donate to Toys for Tots and nothing else but holiday cheer.

Event One

Charity: Water
Our opening event went quite well. Everyone was excited to learn about the charity of building well water in Africa - how simple & cost-effective it is for how profoundly it impacts the lives of thousands. Over $500 raised.

Event Two

Breast Cancer 3-day walk
Our second event was a smashing success with the help of our friends on Team Happy Feet. With a rooftop location in downtown overlooking the ballpark, Bay, Coronado and beyond, the views set the stage for a high-class event (See the View). Over $1400 raised.

Event Three

Toys for Tots
A smaller, more intimate event, that we held in our own home as a Xmas party. Considering the smaller number of invitees, we were overwhelmed by the participation of our friends! About $700 worth of toys.

Event Four

Outdoor Outreach & ARTS
2 great local charities, wonderful food by Asti Ristorante and world-class local beers made this a great event to get C4C going again after a 2-year hiatus. About $600 raised.
