Cocktails for charity - Charity List
Here is a list of Charities that have been suggested. The plan is to sponsor charities that have both an honorable mission as well as efficient business practices. I have included links to Charity Navigator which ranks (see ranking scale below) established charities based on their use of donations to fund operations and fund-raising costs.

Charity List:
1. Charity: Water - I learned about these guys while at the Sundance Festival this year. Their mission is simple, and although they are not listed on Charity Navigator, I have spoken with the owner and understand that "100% of all proceeds directly fund humanitarian programs". This program seeks to stop disease in Africa at one of the root causes - bad water. I am picking this to be the first Charity sponsored at our first event on March 31st.

4. Animal Welfare Institute: 69.15 points
5. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: 53.50 points
6. CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation: 64.30 points
7. National Cancer Coalition: 62.04 points
8. New Yorkers for Children: 69.14 points

4-Star: 60 to 70
3-Star: 50 to 60
2-Star: 40 to 50
1-Star: 25 to 40
